Objective:
Routine and standards that are upheld daily will allow the students to feel safe and secure, while allowing them to learn and flourish. Personality: I am a firm believer in being honest and authentic with my students as much as possible. I enjoy learning about my students interests and personalities since I use that information to impact instruction. I will present myself in an authentic, down-to-earth manner always, even when enforcing my classroom management plan. |

Standards:
I follow the same two principles I use when approaching my lesson plan writing: practice what you preach, and everything is a choice. I hold myself to the same standards and expectations as I hold my students. This ensures that the students have a consistent, solid role model to follow. Safety is nonnegotiable but consequences for cell phone use, etc. will be decided by them. I believe this establishes some sense of self accountability within my students and allows for them to hold themselves to a higher standard. |
